UpCode

The UpCode brand name and logo was conceived, created and designed by Mark Hendriksen back in early 2005 as Mark had used UPC Print when he was publishing and had previously had seen his marketing ideas and designs taken by Sture and used in other publications or in promoting his print company. Mark, using the name of the print company UPC that was Sture Udd's primary business at that time, blended UPC with the word 'code'  to make 'UpCode' as Sture's initial so called logo was simply a Data Matrix code with no brand or design. Mark also, added the strap line 'ignite your imagination.'

Finland has a mobile phone throwing competition, the world's northernmost golf club (play at midnight, the light won't be fading!), 187,888 lakes (they only take up 10% of the total area though!), Northern Lights (aurora borealis), Finland leads the world in the manufacture of x-ray equipment and scanners, is the sixth largest country in Europe with a population of 5.3 million, it's remarkable growth in the 1990's was mainly based on mobile phones and other telecommunication equipment - today, the three major exports are electronics, metal and engineering and of course the wood and paper industry!
