HH&S and m2end Profile After 10 years as a science teacher, Simon entered the world of publishing, including a spell in the early 90s with the rising star of information books, Dorling Kindersley. But the interactive digital world of the late 90's beckoned and Simon set up Learning Multimedia Ltd. to become a publisher of CD ROMs and, ultimately, websites, in collaboration with the inspirational creatives at Actis, now part of the Pearson Group. By 2002, it was clear that sales of mobile phones were growing fast and so Simon set up Handheld Tours Ltd. to produce and market audio tours online to visitors to London and elsewhere. Simon met Mark in 2004 and immediately saw the potential of 2D Codes to make his audio tours more accessible: direct connection to multimedia from print. Simon de Pinna m. 07711 022918 www.upcode.com
